Am I eligible?

Never Dived Before? That's Fine.

The Open Water course is designed for absolute beginners. If you can swim a little and you're in reasonable health, you can do this. Here's the full list:

  • Be at least 10 years old (Junior) or 15 (full certification)
  • Swim 200 m unaided and float / tread water for 10 minutes
  • Complete a short PADI medical questionnaire — most people pass without seeing a doctor
  • No previous scuba experience needed. At all.
